Jesus demonstrated a radically different approach to divine leadership compared to ancient mythological gods. While other deities often appeared among humans for selfish reasons, Jesus chose a path of servanthood and sacrifice. His humility was demonstrated through not exploiting his divine status, taking the form of a servant, and becoming obedient to death on the cross. Because of his complete humility, God highly exalted him, making him an advocate who understands human suffering while having the power to help us.
